Foo fighters have thankfully realeased information that they will "absolutely" be releasing a new album in 2011, with some of the songs already demoed, i think we have alot to look forward too.
"In all honesty Dave Grohl's got 15 or so songs already demoed"
As a big fan of the foo fighters, i am increasingly looking forward to this! I hope that the album goes well, Foo Fighters, and i'm looking forward to some fantastic songs in 2010.

The "Gleek" FAQ
- What is a Gleek?
A "Gleek" is supposedly a fan of the "Hit" TV show Glee, the word "Gleek" derives from a combination of both "Glee" and also "Geek". And if you ask me, there is also a bit of "Prick" in there.
- Why does Glee feel the need to steal good songs, and make them terrible?
The answer to this is simple, and one which did not take long to answer, and simply Glee feels the need to copy, and"make better"RUIN versions of hit songs because my friend, they have no songwriting expertise and any song they write will be an automatic FAIL.
- What can we do to stop these "Gleeks"?
My friend, there is nothing we can do but hope, that one day your favourite song will not be turned in to a shit remake with the word 'Glee' next to it.
Hello Arctic Monkeys?!
Found this diamond whilst browsing, automatically attracted, good morning arctic monkeys, why haven't i listened to you in the last few months?! i miss you!
Gorillaz - Plasitc Beach: Sequel?!
NME have announced that Gorillaz may be creating a sequel to the fantastic Plastic Beach album. Damon Albarn has recently admitted that during recording sessions of the album Plastic Beach, the band recorded enough tracks to create sequel albums. Could this be a teaser telling us that there is more to come? I really do hope so.
Some believed the previous album, Plastic Beach to not be as good as previous ones, but as with every other album you will hear some songs you do like, and some which you really detest. It is important that you listen to them all though, because you will find some winners. For instance, the Plastic Beach play list is home to the fantastic "Stylo" and also "Superfast Jellyfish".
Some fans were not impressed with the "so-called R'n'B" included in this album, but is this another sign of things to come? For instance could a switch to more R'n'B type tracks benefit Gorillaz in the long run, could this be the new look they are into. Personally, i understand music tastes change, i go through stages where i am very into Drum and Bass, and the next week i will be highly based on "Indie" music. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if The Gorillaz are happy with the music they produce, then i certainly am.
Secret Obsesions!
I currently have secret obessesions for the music i formally despised, but the good news is; i'm loving it. Although not too impressed with my sudden craving for nike trakkies, ;). Here's my top five:
1. Kelis - Acapella
2. Usher (feat. Will.I.Am) - OMG
3. Tinie Tempah - Pass Out
4. Iyaz - Solo
5. Scouting for Girls - This Ain't a Love Song

Good Mood;
This week i am in a good mood, apart from the obvious deadlines which are fast approaching. Borrowed some CD's from a friend, looking forward to listening to them, and obviously posting my thoughts. Some are a little outdated though, but who minds a bit of old music?
I think i really need some followers though, any takers? ;)

Tunes of Summer 2009
I am in a rather summery mood today, which is lovely.
I decided re-live some of the music i listened to in past summers, to re-live memories and much more. Here is my top five summer songs:
1. Jamie T - Sticks and Stones
2. Bryan Adams - Summer of 69
3. Alice Cooper - Poison
4. The Zutons - Always Right Behind You
5. The Stiff Dylans - Ever Fallen In Love
Summer 2009 for me was all about re-living old songs, for instance good old Alice Cooper, and Bryan Adams. i also found some new stars, who's song played anthem to my summer, which are of course the other three, the fantastic Jamie T, The Zutons (who i saw live, and were great) And The Stiff Dylans, who are obviously the band which came out of the hit film "Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging".
